HOW to Lose your Eating Disorder IDENTITY and WHY
When we have eating and weight problems or eating disorder, we are usually very attached to this experience and have a strong identity of someone who has an eating disorder! The experience is so consuming that we are fully in it and identified with the experience. It feels like it is who we are.
However, the stronger you are attached to this identity, the further you are from eating recovery and from finding the solution for your unique eating and weight problems.
It’s really helpful to dis-identify from your eating disorder experience as much as possible.
